Shizuru, Genkai is a voice of reason, but she is also a bit of a

Personality:
Sarcastic, somewhat bristly and a bit of a smartass at times but cares
deeply for her friends and is prone to emotional attacks.
Hobbies: When she is not kicking demon ass or on a case, she likes to read and also play horror games on her laptop.
She can sing, but that is a rare thing she does. Most notably, she can
be found in her apartment playing Tetris on her off days and humming the theme while playing.
Powers:
Andrea wields two bladed fans and a thread made of Spirit Energy to
control the movements. The blades stick up three inches from the ribs
and outside of the fan in a light blue color.
Back story:
Andrea was born in the United States and lived there until she was six
months old, when her father got transferred to Tokyo. An orphan since
she was 9 and a Spirit Detective since she was only 14, Andrea may seem
like she's seen it all, but under the tough girl facade she shows, there
are deep secrets about her that she does not want revealed, most notably
about a falling-out in Demon World. Living on her own since she was
16, she works at
Ukai Toriyama, where her being fluent in Japanese and English comes in
rather handy. Her reasons for why she is not in school with her
friends, Viola and Chloe, are unclear, as well as why she was kicked out
of her adoptive parents' home. What IS clear is that this is the toughest case Andrea has faced yet.
Fun Facts:
Andrea can not only speak Japanese and English fluently, she can sing
in Russian as well as her fluent languages. Andrea can also speak in Russian from her mother's side of the family. She loves green tea, often
getting this from Starbucks whenever she gets a chance.

to go to Shinjuku and Akihabara. She likes to listen to music and
dance.
Powers: Viola can make a staff out of light-blue Spirit Energy and wields it almost like how one holds a broom in self-defense.
Back story:
Viola's mother abandoned the family after Viola was born, so her father
takes care of her, doing the best he can as a single father. She used
to live in South Korea but after her father lost his job when she was
two years old, they packed up and moved to Japan. A smart young woman
who is fluent in Korean and Japanese (with some English), she attends
Meiou Academy with her friend, Chloe, and a member of the Reikai Tantei
named Kurama (who goes by Shuichi at school and in public). She hopes
that when she graduates high school that she'll go to nursing school to
be a Registered Nurse. She joins Andrea and Chloe on this case, and she
hopes that they can survive the case intact.
Fun Facts: Viola knows more Korean music than Japanese, but she listens to both. Between Chloe and herself, Viola is more of the thinker between the two.

Sometimes reckless but does think of her actions. Loves to tease her
friends, primarily Andrea with the living situation she is in now.
Hobbies:
When not on a case, she goes with Viola (and Andrea if she's able to)
shopping in Shinjuku and Akihabara. She also likes karaoke and enjoys
making sushi with her grandfather, even though she's not that good at
it.
Powers:
Chloe can make throwing knives out of light-blue Spirit Energy, and
while she does have good aim, she does miss occasionally from her
impulsive nature.
Back story:
Chloe's parents are often away on business, so she stays with her
paternal grandfather. A girl who loves the Japanese arts since she was a
little girl, her grandfather and her used to see Noh performances.
This love of the arts inspired her to join the Meiou Academy acting
club. Even though she doesn't get a leading role, she's happy to be
behind the scenes. She has been friends with Viola for several years
and while her grades are good, she does get distracted easily. She
joins Andrea and Viola on this case where Chloe learns of shocking news
about not only her friends, but also that nothing is as it seems. She
hopes that when she graduates high school that she will go on to acting
school to become an actress.
Fun Fact: Chloe sees her friends Viola and Andrea as her pseudo-sisters, as she is an only child. Hence, why she loves to tease Andrea about her living situation.
